Are you doing research or developing an innovation in life sciences, HealthTech, or medical devices in the Northeast Region? Are you often heads-down in the lab working on your innovation looking for ways to improve your productivity? Are you looking to explore what products/services you might need to advance your technology, understand the various paths to market, engage with regulatory consultants, and meet with contract design or manufacturing companies to expand your team's capabilities? We've created the Industry Connect: MD&M East program for you to see what's out there!
The Industry Connect: Medical Device & Manufacturing East program will take place over 3 Tuesday sessions centered on attending the MD&M East 2023 Conference, one of the largest MedTech conferences on the East Coast (Eventbrite Registration means you plan to attend all 3 sessions):
- June 6: 9:30 - 11:00am, Session 1: Preparing for MD&M East Conference & Expo (Zoom, 90 minutes)
- June 13: 9:30am - 12:00pm, Session 2: Rendezvous at MD&M East Conference & Expo (in-person in Jacob Javitz Center, Getting to Javitz Center)
- June 20: 9:30 - 10:30am, Session 3: Recap ^ Next Steps from MD&M East Conference & Expo (Zoom, 60 minutes)
This program is a good fit for individuals and research teams in the Northeast Region who are developing life sciences, medtech, digital health innovations who identify with any of the following:
- Teams who have applied to Propelus I-Corps, Cohort 9 (June cohort)
- Teams who have completed a regional or National I-Corps program
- Individuals or research teams simply looking for ways to increase your research team's productivity or innovation potential
Industry Connect Learning Goals:
The Industry Connect program will help you:
- Prepare for and attend a FREE regional industry conference and expo with a plan of action
- Identify and evaluate multiple potential key partners including manufacturing partners, prototyping & design consultants, and sales & service organizations as collaborators in your research or business
- Learn how these potential Key Partners fit in the Business Model Canvas framework
- Conduct 10-15 interviews with potential industry partners relevant to your specific technical and commercialization needs
- Effectively communicate the planning involved and outcomes from attending the conference
- Identify next steps post-event and a clear path forward
