Learn how NSF I-Corps works with Diversity Student Groups to connect programs, resources, and experts to broaden participation in innovation & entrepreneurship ecosystems to accelerate tech commercialization and build tech startups! Whether you're far along in your commercialization journey or just starting out and wanting to learn more about innovation, all are welcome!
Terik Tidwell, Director of Inclusive Innovation from VentureWell, will guide an exciting discussion about how developing solutions to the world's grand challenges combined with broadening participation in STEM present opportunities for professional development, technology commercialization, and inclusive innovation.
A panel of distinguished leaders from various Diversity Student Groups will share the missions, programs, and activities of their respective groups and join a discussion led by Terik about how their members can seize opportunities for professional development and Inclusive Innovation. Our panelists will include:
- Cris San Miguel: Assistant Director, GS-LSAMP (Garden State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation)
- Keyon Hill: President, Temple Chapter of NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers)
- Valeria De La Rosa-Reyes: Co-Chair of Albert Einstein School of Medicine Chapter of SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicano/Native Americans in Science)
