Come learn about how the NSF I-Corps Northeast Hub works with VentureWell to provide programs, resources, and funding opportunities to support innovators, I-Corps teams, and startups towards commercialization of their innovations! Whether you're far along in your commercialization journey or just starting out and wanting to learn more about innovation, all are welcome!
A panel of VentureWell leaders will share details about their programs, and join a discussion about how innovators and I-Corps teams can prepare for and capitalize on these various opportunities. Our estemed panelists from VentureWell will include:
- Cara Barnes, Senior Program Officer, E-Teams (supporting student ventures)
- Patrick Beattie, Senior Program Officer, Aspire (prepares startups for investor engagement)
- Tara Loomis, Director, Program, Federal Innovation, National I-Corps, will discuss a variety of efforts that VentureWell leads to promote innovation & entrepreneurship and works closely with NSF to support and track I-Corps teams across the country.
Applications are open for the upcoming regional Propelus I-Corps Programs through Fall 2024. Teams of 2+ exploring the commercial potential of an innovation are invited to apply.
For those teams interested in applying for the NSF National I-Corps, there will also be an Info Session: Applying to NSF National I-Corps Teams Program hosted by Christina Pellicane, Lead Instructor of the NSF I-Corps Northeast Hub immediately after this event on Aug 20th at 12 noon.
