Bio/Description

Dr. Obeid is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Temple University. His research focuses on neural and biomedical signal processing. Applications include brain computer interfaces, traumatic brain injury, virtual reality for cognitive and physical therapy, and neurofeedback. Dr. Obeid is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award as well as a Lindback Award for distinguished teaching. He has been funded by NSF, NIH, and DARPA, amongst others.
