Bio/Description

Walida Ali is the Innovator Outreach and Development Manager at Princeton University. 

Walida is a Molecular Bioengineer and Businesswomen with expertise in early-stage venture creation in deep tech, with a focus on life sciences and healthcare. Walida has gone through the National Science Foundation Innovation Corp twice, for a musical biofeedback digital health platform and an organ-on-a-chip device for CAR-T therapy. Walida is skilled in business development, generating partnerships, fundraising, and strategy. 

In recent years, Walida oversaw portfolio strategy and supported scientific collaboration for a series B fundraising for a biotech company. Simultaneously, Walida has supported over 40 leading Universities in the US through her work supporting at Academic Venture Exchange to translate scientific innovation and drive lab-to-market efforts. Most recently, Walida supported founders at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator. Alongside her work at Princeton University, Walida now also independently supports early-stage biotech and medical device companies. 

Walida holds a BS in Biomolecular Sciences with an Applied Mathematics minor, and an MS in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship from New York University
